Thermal Engineering
Thermal Engineering
Any system that includes parts which are non-isothermal, or require considerations to keep them isothermal, are govern by thermal science principles. Thermal engineering encompasses a wide array of disciplines within which temperature and heat flux variations are important. From design of new systems, diagnostics and failure analysis, thermal engineering are typically one of the main topics that must be included.
Our modern approach to thermal engineering begins with overall evaluation of the system physics and planning the roadmap. Physics-based simulation and data-driven simulation combine to provide a unique “surrogate twin” for the physical prototype that can be analyzed and optimized.
Without having to build, test, and destroy an expensive prototype, we use digital twins, thermal analysis and simulation to investigate design changes, improving the performance and efficiency of the system while validating early decisions in the development process.
We provide expertise in transient simulations, phase change, radiative heat transfer, modeling of failure mechanisms, and data processing and analysis. Our experts can perform complex modeling of solid, fluid and Solid-Fluid Interaction (FSI) systems.
We employ disruptive methods to analyze and visualize the thermal profiles. Our post-processing results will help our client to understand the physics of the system clearly and make appropriate decisions based on the simulation outcome.
